While admissions for BSc-II and III are going on, we can't start with BA-II admission as the result hasn't been declared yet."
At MCM DAV College, Sector 36, seats are being filled within 2 days. "We have fixed a schedule of 2 days for each course. Seats for all the fresher courses were filled within the first 2 days, while seats for second-year courses were taken by Thursday. We would be commencing counseling for final-year courses on Friday, for which we again have set a schedule of 2 days," said Ashish Mudgal, manager IT.
Meanwhile, Government College, Sector 11, is conducting admissions to all undergraduate courses except BA-II simultaneously and the counseling for all the courses is expected to go on till July 15. As for Government College for Girls, Sector 11, only 100 seats are now left in BA-I.
"Today, we admitted students belonging to 'gap year' category. We would be starting with BA-II admissions for old students from Friday and new students would be invited on Saturday. However, if the result for BA-I is not declared till Friday morning, the date would be extended. We will put up a notice regarding the same," said an official.
